Rev. Dr. Samuel Kobia, is a Methodist clergyman and the first African to be elected General Secretary of the World Council of Churches. Dr. Kobia is now working as the senior advisor of President Uhuru Kenyatta on matters of peace, cohesion, and conflict resolution. He will take on the role of ABLI Moderator after Lord Paul Boateng retires in 2015.
Rt. Lord Paul Boateng is a British Labour Party politician, who was the Member of Parliament (MP) from 1987 to 2005. He served as the British High Commissioner to South Africa from March 2005 to May 2009. He was introduced as a member of the House of Lords on 1 July 2010.
HE Dr Raphael Edou was a Minister of Environment Climate Change and Reforestation in Benin. His career was devoted for tackling issues related to energy, water and food security in Africa.
Her Ladyship Georgina Wood is the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, having been appointed in June of 2007. She is the first woman in Ghana to be elevated to this high office, constitutionally the fourth position after the President, Vice President and the Speaker of Parliament.
Her Ladyship Esme Chombo is a Justice on the Supreme Court of Malawi. Before coming to this position, Justice Chombo worked in private sector as well as in the press.
Mr. David Hammond is a lawyer by profession. He was the General Secretary of the Bible Society of Ghana, and went on to work with the United Bible Societies, holding the office of Africa Area Secretary for several years. He is currently serving as the ABLI Ambassador
